Hydroponic systems typically use a balanced, water-soluble fertilizer that contains all the essential nutrients plants need to grow. This type of fertilizer is specifically formulated for hydroponic systems to ensure optimal plant growth and development. Common ingredients in hydroponic fertilizers include nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, calcium, magnesium, and various micronutrients. It is important to closely follow the manufacturer's instructions for mixing and applying the fertilizer to prevent nutrient deficiencies or toxicities in the plants. **

Orchids thrive in bright, indirect light, so place them near a window with sheer curtains or in a location with filtered sunlight. When it comes to pruning, only trim dead or yellowing stems or flowers to promote new growth. Use a balanced orchid fertilizer diluted to half strength every 2-4 weeks during the growing season, but reduce frequency during the dormant period. Remember to water orchids sparingly, allowing the roots to dry out between waterings to prevent root rot. **

Additionally, incorporating warm-toned lighting fixtures can enhance the overall aesthetic of the terrarium and create a cozy atmosphere. Avoiding harsh, bright lights is important as desert plants typically thrive in more subdued lighting conditions. **

The lighting for a terrarium is crucial for the health and growth of the plants inside. Most terrariums require bright, indirect light to thrive. It is important to place the terrarium in a location where it can receive adequate natural light or to supplement with artificial grow lights if needed. The type and duration of lighting needed can vary depending on the types of plants in the terrarium, so it's important to research the specific requirements of the plants you are using. **
