Onix evolves into Steelix when traded while holding a Metal Coat. This evolution process was introduced in Generation II of the Pokémon games. Once Onix is traded with a Metal Coat, it will evolve into Steelix, a Steel/Ground-type Pokémon with increased stats and a different appearance. **

In Pokémon Gold, you can evolve Onix into Steelix by trading it while holding a Metal Coat. Once you have a Metal Coat in your inventory, initiate a trade with another player or use a second Game Boy to trade with yourself. During the trade, Onix will evolve into Steelix. Keep in mind that Steelix will only evolve from Onix if it is holding the Metal Coat during the trade process. **

The traded Onix in Pokémon Crystal is stubborn because it has a high level of friendship with its original trainer, making it less likely to obey a new trainer. This is a common trait among traded Pokémon in the game, as they may not have the same level of trust and bond with their new trainer. To improve the Onix's obedience, the player can increase its friendship level by spending time with it, using it in battles, and giving it items like vitamins or grooming tools. **

Hydroponic systems typically use a balanced, water-soluble fertilizer that contains all the essential nutrients plants need to grow. This type of fertilizer is specifically formulated for hydroponic systems to ensure optimal plant growth and development. Common ingredients in hydroponic fertilizers include nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, calcium, magnesium, and various micronutrients. It is important to closely follow the manufacturer's instructions for mixing and applying the fertilizer to prevent nutrient deficiencies or toxicities in the plants. **

Orchids thrive in bright, indirect light, so place them near a window with sheer curtains or in a location with filtered sunlight. When it comes to pruning, only trim dead or yellowing stems or flowers to promote new growth. Use a balanced orchid fertilizer diluted to half strength every 2-4 weeks during the growing season, but reduce frequency during the dormant period. Remember to water orchids sparingly, allowing the roots to dry out between waterings to prevent root rot. **

For a desert terrarium, lighting elements that mimic natural sunlight are ideal. Full-spectrum LED grow lights can provide the necessary light for desert plants to thrive. Additionally, incorporating warm-toned lighting fixtures can enhance the overall aesthetic of the terrarium and create a cozy atmosphere. Avoiding harsh, bright lights is important as desert plants typically thrive in more subdued lighting conditions. **

The lighting for a terrarium is crucial for the health and growth of the plants inside. Most terrariums require bright, indirect light to thrive. It is important to place the terrarium in a location where it can receive adequate natural light or to supplement with artificial grow lights if needed. The type and duration of lighting needed can vary depending on the types of plants in the terrarium, so it's important to research the specific requirements of the plants you are using. **

For bearded dragons, it is recommended to use a combination of UVB and heat lighting in their terrarium. A UVB light source is essential for bearded dragons as it helps them metabolize calcium and prevents metabolic bone disease. In addition, a basking light that provides heat is necessary for creating a temperature gradient in the terrarium, allowing the bearded dragon to regulate its body temperature. It is important to place the lights on a timer to mimic a natural day and night cycle for the bearded dragon. **
